Yes. Quotes are free and there’s no obligation. For most jobs the owner visits in person to look at the surfaces, then sends a written quote. For smaller jobs, a few photos can be enough to get started.

Our quotes are detailed and itemised. They cover the areas to be painted, the preparation and repairs, the paint and number of coats, any scaffolding or access equipment, and an estimated timeframe. That makes it easy to compare with other quotes on a like-for-like basis.

It depends on the size of the house, the cladding, its condition, access and the finish you want, so we don’t give one-size-fits-all prices. A site visit lets us give you an accurate, itemised quote. We’re not always the cheapest quote, but our customers tell us the prep and communication are worth it.

Payment terms are written into your quote, so you know what’s due and when before any work starts. Larger jobs may be invoiced in stages. If you have any questions about payment, just ask us.

We use quality Resene and Dulux paints, matched to the surface and conditions. Paint is supplied by us and included in the quote, unless you’d prefer a particular product, which we’re happy to use.

Yes. We can arrange a colour specialist to help you choose with confidence, and we’ll talk through finishes and sheen levels so you know how they’ll look and wear.

It depends on the size of the job, the prep needed and, for exteriors, the weather. A single room might take a day or two, while a full exterior takes longer. Your quote includes a realistic timeframe, and many of our jobs finish ahead of schedule.

We don’t paint exteriors in the rain or on damp surfaces, because the paint won’t bond or cure properly. We watch the forecast closely, move to prep or interior work where we can, and let you know early if the timeline needs to shift.

Not much. It helps if you put away fragile or valuable items and clear small things from shelves and walls. We’ll move and cover furniture, protect floors and gardens, and take care of the rest.

Yes. We tidy up at the end of each day and do a full clean-up when the job is finished. On bigger exteriors we can also organise professional cleaners.

Yes. No job is too big or too small, from a single bathroom or a fence to a whole house or office. Small jobs get the same prep and care as big ones.

Yes. We carry public liability insurance up to $2,000,000 and defective-workmanship cover up to $100,000. The owner also holds a valid Site Safe passport and NZQA certificates for working at heights and elevating work platforms.

As early as you can, especially for exteriors in the warmer months, which fill up first. That said, we often fit in jobs at short notice, such as office make-goods and pre-sale repaints. Call us and we’ll tell you honestly when we can start.

We work Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm. Saturday work is handy when you’re on a deadline or want the job finished sooner.

We plan commercial work to keep disruption to a minimum, staging areas and working around your trading hours. For schools, we aim to paint during the holidays. Talk to us about your site and we’ll work out a schedule that suits.
